{ Thoughts }

YES. It's Thursday and I'm posting my Showcase Sunday - and what?

So I just got back from Paris and I totally thought I had scheduled this to publish on Sunday, but apparently I didn't - woops. This week I received The Sea Close By by Camus and Let It Snow by  John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle from Spinebreakers. I picked the Camus book because I'm off to study French this October though I have to admit I am disappointed that it is a tiny little booklet :( It's not Christmas time, but I saw two words: 'John Green', and I knew I had to read this book. I've read some mixed reviews but hopefully it'll be good. I bought Gone Girl when I was at Reading Festival because I foolishly thought I'd have time to read it. All that happened was my book was battered by the rain (and raspberry juice?) and it came home unread and dishevelled (sad face).  Aand lastly, I have a copy of Earth Star available for giveaway! Thanks very much to Random House. Reviews of both Earth Girl and Earth Star coming soon so keep your eyes peeled! Enter below :)

  3. I've wanted to read Gone Girl for a while but it seems scary, I am still trying to read more mystery that doesn't lean toward the chic lit side but some of it's just scary :P

  6. I *almost* got a copy of Gone Girl when I was in Amsterdam but decided against it. I'll need to give it a go when I'm caught up with my review books, though! Hope you enjoy it :)
