I'm so excited to have been approved for Lauren Kate's Teardrop! The synopsis doesn't really give a lot away as to what it's about but it looks like it's a pretty good read. I've never read Caitlin Moran's writing but my friends have raved about her other book so I'm hoping this one will be just as witty. I saw Insurgent on Goodreads so, of course, I requested it. (Yes, I still haven't read the Divergent series, don't shoot me). Finally, I got Adventures with the Wife in Space, Living with Doctor Who. Being as I'm a Doctor Who fan I thought that this would be a fun and lighthearted read, just in time for the 50th Anniversary!

I may be going to a Holly Black event for 'The Coldest Girl in Cold Town' on Monday, but it's in London and I am not based in London during term time so I may not be able to get there in time so we shall see!

I also hit 500 GFC followers this week! Another giveaway will be coming soon ;) Winners of my past two giveaways have yet to be chosen, sorry for the delay!

What did everyone else get this week?  Leave your link in the comments below! :)

  4. Teardrop does look pretty, I'll have to look more into what it's about on Goodreads :) Enjoy everything you got, and good luck seeing if you can go to that Holly Black event!

  5. I'm still debating whether to read Teardrop or not. Especially since Lauren Kate is having a signing in my city. I don't want to go if I don't think I'll actually enjoy the book!
You really need to get a move on and read the Divergent series! Divergent is still my favourite book in the series so you get to start with the best!

  7. I am really wanting Teardrop! I need to start the Divergent series before too long. I own the first two so I'm just waiting to get the third one for cheap and then I'll probably read straight through.

  9. Adventures with the Wife in Space looks great, I hope it's as good as it seems. I haven't read the Divergent series yet either, I'm glad I'm not alone in this!

  11. Yay for Teardrop! I hope you enjoy it! :)
You need to start the Divergent series! The first two are brilliant, the last one kind of ruined the series for me though.
I hope you had fun at the Holly Black event!
    Great haul :)
