There's two weeks worth of stuff here since I forgot to do my Showcase Sunday last week - woops! Quite excited about all my books this week and there's quite a wide range of genres. It was my 18th birthday not too long ago (woo) and my friend got me a copy of Laid in Chelsea (lol) by Ollie Locke, star of Made in Chelsea, plus it's signed! (double lol) Watching Made in Chelsea has gotten a bit weird recently because Tara Keeney, Jamie Laing's girlfriend, is in my year at school and it just makes you wonder even more about how much of the show is scripted and how much of it is reality. The other four books are all from Spinebreakers at Penguin and they've all had really good reviews written. I'm probably most excited about The 5th Wave because I've seen a lot of hype about it and the cover is so mysterious! I requested The Sweetness of Life by Francoise Heritier because apparently it's a French bestseller (translated) and since I'm going to be studying French at uni later this year I thought I'd try and get in the zone. I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy Delirium and Fever because the plot, although really unique, seems a bit odd as there's a clash between the modern and classical world and I don't know if they'll fit so well together but we shall see!
What did everyone else get this week? Leave me the link to your SS below! :)
I actually can't remember the last time I sat down to read a book! Need to rectify that ASAP haha
